This chapter tells the story
of the visit to the city of Kaunas.
It is divided into two sections.
The first one is all about
a few sites related to the family.
The second one is about general ones.

The visit to the old house
of the Machtas family in Kaunas
was followed by a visit
to the central Jewish bank
and to the Hebrew high school
that the children went to.

In the second section
you can read about
the visit to the local synagogue
and to other historic places
along the streets of the old town.
A few words about the nightlife
and about the accommodation
are also to be found.
