Lea Goldberg (1911-1970 )was a very prominent Hebrew writer.
A poet,novelist,translator and playwright.
She wrote a lot for children and remains popular even today.
Goldberg is considered by many as arguably
the most important female writer in Israeli history.
Young Lea though who used to live in this house
studied at the famous Jewish gymnasium in town.
